Abhik Choudhury is a strategist, educator and author who advises organizations, teaches future communicators and writes about the forces shaping business and society. He is the Founder and Chief Strategist of Salt & Paper Consulting and serves as Visiting Faculty at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi. His work sits at the intersection of influence, communication and emerging technology.
Over the past fifteen years, he has worked with businesses, institutions, governments and leadership teams across sectors including education, tourism, hospitality, entertainment, technology and public affairs. His work focuses on understanding how ideas influence behaviour, how trust is built and how organizations navigate change in an increasingly complex world.

His experience includes work with multinational corporations, public sector undertakings, industry bodies, academic institutions & government leadership cohorts.


The Classroom
For nearly a decade, Abhik has taught Marketing Research, Brand Strategy and Campaign Planning at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, helping prepare future communicators, strategists and leaders for an increasingly interconnected world, changing in real time.
In addition to his teaching at IIMC, Abhik is a frequent guest lecturer and speaker at universities, academic institutions and industry forums in India and abroad. His sessions focus on crisis communication, marketing strategy, dynamic artificial intelligence, public influence and the future of work.
His interest in education extends beyond the classroom. In recent years, much of his work has explored how artificial intelligence is transforming learning, careers and the skills required for the coming decade. He believes that as technology becomes more powerful, critical thinking, creativity and human judgment become even more valuable & we need to focus on surprising the algorithm rather than fighting it.

Over the years, Abhik has worked with C-Suite executives, board of directors, ministries, policymakers, public affairs professionals, educators and entrepreneurs across India and internationally. His workshops and executive education programs focus on business strategy, 360 brand campaigns, digital crisis communication, macro stakeholder engagement, dynamic artificial intelligence, reputation management and public influence.
His experience includes training and advisory engagements with government institutions, public sector organizations, global corporate leadership teams and civil service cohorts, including IAS and IIS officers.
